The international freight forwarder, DHL, wants to conquer the Brazilian automotive industry by opening a new Automotive Competence Centre in Sao Paulo.

The new centre will be part of a streamlining process for internal automotive supply chains around the world. Beyond that, it will combine all DHL automotive activities under one roof.

“By linking our Automotive Competence Centre here in Brazil with our global network of dedicated automotive logistics experts, we are well positioned to bring value to our customers in this dynamic industry”, said Volker Oesau, CEO Middle & Southern Europe & Global Automotive Sponsor, DHL Global Forwarding.

The Sao Paulo centre will be the latest addition to DHL’s seven existing centres. All of them focus on freight and automotive markets in developing countries.
