Emirates SkyCargo launches new real-time tracking device

From today, Emirates SkyCargo, the freight branch of UAE airline Emirates, has adopted a new onboard shipment monitoring and tracking device across its entire fleet.

The new technology, supplied by OnAsset intelligence, will allow real-time location and sensor monitoring of air freight cargo from origin to destination.

Nabil Sultan, Emirates' divisional senior vice-president for cargo, commented, "Emirates SkyCargo is always looking at innovative ways and solutions to meet customer needs and requirements." There is clearly demand for tracking air freight shipments, so there's no doubt the new technology will be popular.
