DHL Supply Chain Secures Contract with Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I

DHL Supply Chain has secured a new 3-year contract with Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I, starting from the 1st of January 2024.

According to the arrangement, DHL Supply Chain will be SBF GB&I's only supplier for warehousing and supply chain deliveries. DHL plans to use this to generate over 310 jobs at their Worksop location. DHL wants to help SBF GB&I deliver their “growing for good company value”, to improve the efficiency across their supply chain, while focusing on sustainability.

As DHL plans to utilise their investments in automation and fulfilment throughout Great Britain, SBF GB&I hopes to obtain a deeper understanding and operational efficiencies. SBF GB&I will profit from improved reporting and real-time tracking, among other things.

With the support of track and trace capabilities, DHL Supply Chain will offer SBF GB&I an optimised transport solution that removes unused network space, lowers related costs, and reduces carbon emissions.

Chief Operating Officer of SBF GB&I, Carol Robert has stated “We believe DHL Supply Chain will help deliver our strategic ambitions. We have lots of growth to go after; together with DHL’s capability, we will achieve our ambitious revenue targets through customer service excellence, while reducing our environmental impact”.
